Department for Coordination of Joint Educational Programs

The Department for Coordination of Joint Educational Programs was established in 2020 to implement the tasks set forth in the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, particularly concerning the development of the higher education system until 2030 and the introduction of new management principles. It operates based on mutual agreements with foreign partner universities to organize education through joint programs. The department's operations adhere to the "Regulations on the Procedure for Organizing Educational Activities Based on Joint Educational Programs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Foreign Partner Higher Educational Institutions" (Annex to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 421 of July 6, 2021).

The Department for Coordination of Joint Educational Programs (QTD bo'limi) was founded in 2020. Its establishment is a direct result of the strategic objectives outlined in the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specifically Presidential Decree No. PF-5847 of October 8, 2019, "On Approving the Concept of Development of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030," and Presidential Decree No. PF-4391 of July 11, 2019, "On Measures to Introduce New Management Principles into the System of Higher and Secondary Special Education." The primary aim was to organize student education through joint educational programs based on mutual agreements between higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and their foreign partners.

The department's activities are strictly regulated by the "Regulations on the Procedure for Organizing Educational Activities Based on Joint Educational Programs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Foreign Partner Higher Educational Institutions," which is an annex to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 421 dated July 6, 2021.

Currently, the department employs 2 staff members and collaborates with 12 invited lecturers. Among these lecturers, there are 2 Doctors of Science, Professors, and 5 Candidates of Science, Associate Professors, ensuring a high level of academic expertise.

The department offers Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in the following fields: Philology (Russian language and literature), Natural Sciences (Biology), Defectology (Speech Therapy), Primary Education, and Preschool Education.

Bachelor's students in the full-time program follow a "3+1" model, where they study for three years at Chirchiq State Pedagogical University (ChDPU) in the Republic of Uzbekistan and then complete their final year at A. Kuleshov Mogilev State University (MSU) in the Republic of Belarus.

Master's students pursue their studies under a "1+1" model. In this format, Master's students complete their first year at Chirchiq State Pedagogical University in the Republic of Uzbekistan and their second year at Mogilev State University in the Republic of Belarus.

Upon successful completion of their studies, both Bachelor's and Master's graduates receive diplomas from two leading universities, significantly enhancing their qualifications and career prospects.

Department's Aims and Objectives:

The main objective of the department is to enhance the international reputation of the faculty by introducing best practices in natural, social, and humanitarian sciences, and by integrating theory and practice.

The department's specific tasks include:

Preparing Competitive Personnel: Training competitive specialists equipped with 21st-century skills by improving the content of natural, philological, and social education, along with its educational and methodological support, to meet current demands.
Fostering Competition and Attractiveness: Creating a healthy competitive environment and increasing the international attractiveness of the faculty.
Developing International-Level Teachers: Raising the faculty's prestige through the training of internationally recognized teachers. This also involves ensuring the implementation of interstate, intergovernmental, and interdepartmental agreements in the field of education.
Participation in Research: Engaging in international scientific research projects.
Organizing Events: Organizing international scientific-practical conferences, seminars, roundtables, and other academic events.
Promoting Academic Mobility: Developing and supporting academic mobility programs for students and staff.
