Department History
The Department of Biology was established in accordance with Decision No. 1 of the Council of Chirchik State Pedagogical Institute of Tashkent Region, dated August 29, 2019. Since its inception, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor V.B. Fayziyev has served as its head.
Department's Strategic Task, Goal, and Mission
Department's Strategic Task: To meet the demand for highly qualified biology teachers in general secondary schools and Presidential schools in Tashkent region and other parts of the Republic, while developing the quality of biology education based on an innovative pedagogical education cluster and initiating modern biological research.
Department of Biology's Strategic Goal: To improve the quality of biology education based on an innovative pedagogical education cluster, and to train biology teachers who possess essential life knowledge, feel a high sense of duty and responsibility, are eager for and adaptable to modern scientific and technological innovations, are well-versed, patriotic, diligent, and dedicated to their profession.
Strategy Mission: To improve and develop the department's image based on modern trends in personnel training and international experience and connections.
Department's Prospective Vision: To transform the department into a center for conducting modern research in biology, integrating research results into the educational process, and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of personnel training and teaching through the implementation of modern approaches and pedagogical technologies.
Department Motto: "Teaching is twice as much learning."

Department's Goals and Objectives (Education, Scientific Research, International Cooperation)
Training highly qualified biology teachers and initiating modern biological research based on innovative educational technologies includes:
- Increasing educational effectiveness by implementing biology education based on modern educational technologies.
- Training international biology teachers.
- Initiating modern biological research based on disciplines such as biotechnology, biochemistry, virology, and microbiology.
- Establishing "Science-Education-Production" integration.
