Department of Technological Education

Established in 2019 at Chirchiq State Pedagogical University, the Department of Technological Education integrates national and international standards to modernize and enhance technological education programs. It offers bachelor's degree courses and conducts research focused on improving service training methodology, promoting labor education and national values, and developing management mechanisms for technological education, including ICT integration.

Year of Establishment and History of Development The Department of Technological Education was established on August 27, 2019, by Decision No. 1 of the Council of Chirchiq State Pedagogical Institute in Tashkent region. Previously, it operated within the "Fine Arts and Labor" department before becoming an independent department. The department is located at Chirchiq State Pedagogical University, Building 5, Room 206, Tashkent region.

Mission and Objectives of the Department Mission: Integration of national and international technological education directions. Our Goals:

Modernizing technological education directions in accordance with international educational standards.
Improving the content of technological education programs to match the curricula of TOP 1000 international universities.
Forming the image of an international educator based on the integration of modern educational technologies and digital technologies. The department is implementing its medium-term strategic development program (for 2022-2025).

Scientific Research Directions and Projects The Department of Technological Education is actively engaged in scientific research in several strategic areas. These directions aim to conduct scientific research that meets modern educational demands, expand cooperation with national and international scientific communities, and achieve practical results:

Methodology of Service Training: Developing special competencies in culinary skills for future technological education teachers and improving the methodology of teaching service training is one of the department's priority areas. M.S.Abdullayeva's scientific work highlights issues of developing special competencies in teaching service training.
Labor Education and Values: Improving technologies for utilizing national folk traditions in students' labor education to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies in folk craftsmanship, and promoting universal values, are important aspects of the department's activities. D.B.Luxmanov conducts extensive research in the direction of national values and moral education based on folk pedagogy.
Research on Management Mechanisms of Technological Education: A number of scientific works are being carried out on the development and improvement of technological education (ICT) in general secondary schools (K.K.Matyakubov, M.X.Sayidova). These directions contribute to enhancing the department's scientific research potential and developing new modern methodologies.
