Pedagogical Philosophy

As the founder of the Concept for the Development of Continuous Education and the architect of the “Pedagogical Education Innovation Cluster,” Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan G‘afurjon Mukhammadov expresses his educational philosophy as follows:

“The Pedagogical Education Innovation Cluster is a modern approach to ensuring quality and effectiveness in education. At its core lies the harmony of education services aimed at public interest. Connecting fundamental science with practical application is one of its key principles.”

This philosophy has served as a strategic foundation for updating educational content, bringing it closer to real-world applications, and aligning it with social needs across the universities he has led.

Approach to Modernizing the Educational Process

G‘ulomjon Mukhammadov has consistently prioritized improving the quality and effectiveness of education, integrating advanced technologies, and fostering student talent throughout his pedagogical career. He is recognized as a distinguished educator who introduced modern teaching methods, innovative educational clusters, and updated academic methodologies in higher education institutions across Uzbekistan.

Curriculum and Methodology Reform

Under Mukhammadov’s leadership at various universities:

  • Academic schedules were transitioned to single-shift systems;

  • E-learning platforms were established;

  • New-generation curricula, standards, and electronic textbooks were developed;

  • Modern pedagogical technologies were widely implemented;

  • Student internships and practical sessions were monitored and managed electronically.

Key Scientific-Methodological Focus: Pedagogical Education Innovation Cluster

In 2019, at Mukhammadov’s initiative, the "Pedagogical Education Innovation Cluster" system was developed and introduced in Tashkent Region. This cluster aims to:

  • Ensure the integrated development of education and upbringing;

  • Reform the teacher training system;

  • Promote fundamental, applied, and innovative research;

  • Strengthen the capacity of pedagogical institutions.

Today, this system serves as the core scientific-methodological direction of Chirchik State Pedagogical University, where over 30 doctoral dissertations have been successfully defended.

Work with Youth

G.I. Mukhammadov pays special attention to encouraging young talents. In support of the President of Uzbekistan’s Five Initiatives, he helped launch:

  • The reading competition “Made Friends with 10 Books in a Month, 100 Books in a Year”, now a traditional event;

  • As a result, students began achieving notable success in science, arts, and sports.

Pedagogical Practice and Mentor-Apprentice Model

Under Mukhammadov’s guidance:

  • 22 “School-Laboratory” innovation centers were established in general education schools across Tashkent Region;

Scientific Research Directions

G‘ulomjon Mukhamedov’s scientific activity is focused on pressing issues in the field of chemistry, particularly in polymer chemistry, solving ecological problems, and protecting agriculture and the environment. His research has introduced several promising solutions considered innovative in Uzbek science.

Research on Urea-Formaldehyde Based Interpolymers

Mukhamedov was the first to develop methods to slow down the three-dimensional polymerization process of urea-formaldehyde oligomers. This laid the foundation for creating formulations based on interpolymers.

Innovative Materials for Soil and Ecology: MT-1 and MT-2

The chemical formulations MT-1 and MT-2, developed by the scientist, have been successfully applied in various fields such as agriculture and ecology:

  • In cotton cultivation – to prevent soil crust formation;

  • In agriculture and irrigation – to save up to 30% of irrigation water;

  • In the Aral Sea region – to restore flora and fauna and stop wind erosion;

  • In the Chernobyl area – to prevent the spread of sand, dust, and radionuclides.

These scientific and practical developments were carried out in collaboration with Moscow State University and leading universities in Uzbekistan.

PKG-1 Polycomplex Composites for Pharmaceuticals

The PKG-1 polycomplex composites developed by Mukhamedov enable enhanced drug delivery, prolonged action, and more effective absorption. This approach provides a scientifically grounded basis for pharmaceutical innovation.
