Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics

Established in 2022, the Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics at Chirchiq State Pedagogical University specializes in training teachers for Fine Arts and Engineering Graphics and specialists in Interior Design. The department's mission is to integrate advanced education, science, and innovative technologies, focusing on updating continuous pedagogical education in engineering graphics, fostering international cooperation, and developing an innovative research environment for modern teaching methodologies.

Year of Establishment and History of Development The Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics was established in 2022 by Order No. 01-215 of the Rector of Chirchiq State Pedagogical University (CSPU) dated August 29, 2022, separating as an independent department from the "Fine Arts" department. The department is located in Room 116, 1st floor of the Main Building of Chirchiq State Pedagogical University, 104 Amir Temur Street, Chirchiq city, Tashkent region. Currently, the department trains and educates teachers for the Fine Arts and Engineering Graphics specializations, as well as specialists in Design: Interior Design.

Mission and Objectives of the Department Mission: To enhance the department's prestige locally and internationally based on the integration of advanced education, science, and innovative technologies. Our Goals:

  • Updating the content and objectives of continuous pedagogical education, taking into account current issues in engineering graphics disciplines.
  • Expanding international cooperation – establishing partnerships with universities and departments, the scientific community, and educational projects.
  • Developing the scientific research environment – teaching engineering graphics disciplines using modern technologies and becoming an innovative center for pedagogical research. The medium-term strategic development program of the Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics (for 2022-2025) is being implemented.

Imagination and Innovation: An Individual Approach to Design Education

The Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics held a practical-methodical exhibition-based educational event focused on individual learning technologies, personalized approaches, and the effective organization of the teaching process. The event provided an opportunity to explore and analyze new knowledge and experiences by integrating modern engineering design with pedagogy.

During the exhibition-based event, participants gained deeper insight into how the subject of technical drawing is developing with the help of advanced software such as AutoCAD and 3Ds Max, as well as the significance of these programs in the world of design.

The event also emphasized that, due to rapid technological advancement, technical drawing is no longer limited to paper and pencil. Modern software significantly simplifies the processes of creating drawings, 3D modeling, and preparing project presentations. These technologies not only enhance students’ drawing skills but also expand their creative and technical capabilities.

Master’s students of the “Engineering Graphics and Design Theory” specialization discussed the essence of the cluster concept and presented the work being carried out in the department based on an educational cluster model.

During the event, talented students demonstrated how classroom activities can be organized using methods such as “Snowman,” “Robot,” “Find Me,” “A4 Format,” and “Puzzle.”

The university rector, Gofurjon Mukhamedov, shared his comments on the organization of individual learning at the department and announced the launch of the “Robotics” creative club at the Faculty of Art Studies..
