Department of Fine Arts and Design

Year of Establishment and History of Development The Department of Fine Arts and Design was established on August 31, 2019, under the name "Fine Arts" based on Order No. 01-642 of the Rector of Chirchiq State Pedagogical Institute. On August 29, 2022, by Order No. 01-215 of the Rector of Chirchiq State Pedagogical University, the "Fine Arts" department was reformed and renamed "Fine Arts and Design." Currently, the department has a total of 16 faculty members, including 1 Professor (Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences), 1 Professor (PhD), 1 Associate Professor (PhD), 4 Acting Associate Professors, 2 Senior Lecturers, and 6 Lecturers.

Mission and Objectives of the Department The primary mission and objectives of the department are to enhance its reputation locally and internationally through the integration of advanced education, science, and innovative technologies. This also includes:

• Implementing interdisciplinary integration in students' graduation qualification works through the principle of integration in education, thus elevating education to a new level.
• Organizing individual education based on "master-apprentice" traditions and activating students' professional and creative knowledge acquisition through independent learning.
• Conducting scientific research on the practical application of the pedagogical education innovative cluster.
• Continuously updating and improving educational programs based on innovative, interactive pedagogical technologies and modern methodologies aimed at developing students' professional competence in specialized subjects.
• Activating, optimizing, modernizing, and digitizing specialized subjects.
• Training highly qualified foreign pedagogical staff based on future trends and demands.
• Enhancing the quality of education through a cluster model and STEAM integration in teaching specialized subjects.
• Directing Bachelor's Thesis (BMI) towards inter-integrative projects based on the opportunities of the educational field.
• Developing modern methodologies for Fine Arts subjects for general education schools.
