     Chirchik State Pedagogical University solemnly hosted an international conference on April 13, 2026, under the distinguished title “Integration of Philological and Pedagogical Research in an Innovative Educational Environment.” The event brought together esteemed scholars, dedicated educators, and international experts in a spirit of academic unity and intellectual exchange.

     The conference was inaugurated with a keynote address by Professor Mohammad Ali of Indonesian Pedagogical University, whose presentation eloquently underscored the vital importance of harmonizing linguistic research with contemporary pedagogical practice. His remarks set an inspiring and forward-looking tone for the proceedings.

     Among the notable speakers, Professor Gulnara Mahkamova of Uzbekistan National Pedagogical University addressed pressing linguodidactic challenges in shaping discursive competence, emphasizing the cultivation of articulate and critically engaged learners. Emeritus Professor Zulfiya Tukhtakhodjayeva of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages presented innovative approaches to teaching formulaic language through corpus-based methods, demonstrating the practical relevance of modern linguistic tools.

     The international dimension of the conference was further enriched by Dr. Giuseppe Chiaramonte, a U.S. Department of State English Language Program specialist, who called upon educators to transcend traditional boundaries and become agents of transformative change. Dr. Komila Tangirova of Warwick University offered valuable insights into the application of corpus linguistics in classroom practice, bridging theory and instruction.

     Concluding the plenary session, Timur Pak highlighted the enduring role of literature in language education, illustrating its power to guide learners from fluency toward mastery.
