Arofatoy Urinovna Muýdinova was born in 1973 in the Uchkuprik district of the Fergana region. Nationality — Uzbek.

From 1991 to 1996, she studied at the Faculty of Uzbek and Kazakh Philology at the Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute. Her specialty is teaching Uzbek language and literature.

She holds a PhD in Philological Sciences.

She is currently an acting associate professor at the Department of Uzbek Literary Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Chirchik State Pedagogical University.

From 1998 to 2004, Arofatoy Muýdinova worked as a teacher of Uzbek language and literature at Specialized State Secondary School No. 6 in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city. From 2005 to 2021, she held the position of a top-category teacher of Uzbek language and literature at Secondary School No. 104. Her students won honorable 1st and 2nd places in district and city stages of subject Olympiads in 2017–2020. They also became winners in essay contests held at the city and national levels. In 2010, she was among the prizewinners of the city stage of the “Teacher of the Year” contest in Tashkent. That same year, she was awarded the badge of honor “Excellence in Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.” In 2018, she received a Certificate of Honor from the Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Shermatov. In 2019, she was awarded the highest qualification category in the subject "Uzbek Language and Literature." Since 2021, she has been working at the Faculty of Humanities of Chirchik State Pedagogical University — first as a lecturer, then as a senior lecturer, and currently serves as the Acting Associate Professor at the Department of Uzbek Literary Studies.
In 2023, Arofatoy Muýdinova successfully defended her dissertation for the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences, specializing in 10.00.02 – “Uzbek Literature,” on the topic: “Muashshakh Tradition in the Uzbek Literature of the National Renaissance: Tradition and Individuality” at the dissertation council of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. In the same year, her monograph titled “The Muashshakh Tradition in Uzbek Literature” was published. Arofatoy Muýdinova has conducted scholarly research on the muashshakh tradition in Uzbek poetry and has published a number of articles on this topic.
In 2023, a monograph by Arofatoy Muýdinova titled “The Muashshakh Tradition in Uzbek Literature” was published. In the same year, she co-authored and published the textbook “Textology.” In 2024, the textbook “Uzbek Literature II” was published.
