About the Faculty
The Faculty of Humanities of Chirchik State Pedagogical University was established in 2017 as a vibrant academic hub focused on social sciences, humanities, and philology.
Initially known as the Faculty of History and Languages, it was officially renamed the Faculty of Humanities on October 31, 2020, by decision of the university council.
The Faculty aims to integrate theoretical knowledge, practical application, and global cooperation to strengthen its international status and prepare well-rounded specialists with 21st-century skills.

About the Faculty of Humanities
The Faculty of Humanities was established in 2017 as the Faculty of History and Languages. It was officially renamed to the Faculty of Humanities on October 31, 2020, by decision No. 4 of the extended council meeting of Chirchik State Pedagogical Institute (now University). The faculty is located at 1 Lomonosov Street, Chirchik city, Tashkent region, within Building 6 of Chirchik State Pedagogical University.
Currently, the faculty educates a total of 3686 students in modern, well-equipped auditoriums and laboratories across various educational programs:
- 1594 students in full-time bachelor's programs.
- 101 students in full-time master's programs.
- 1908 students in distance learning (2nd higher education) programs.
- 83 students in evening programs.
The faculty's academic staff consists of 117 professors and instructors, including:
- 9 Doctors of Science, Professors.
- 38 Candidates of Science, Associate Professors.
The faculty offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in social-humanitarian (History, National Idea, Law Education) and philological (Uzbek Language and Literature, Russian Language and Literature, Russian Language in Other-Language Groups, Kazakh Language, Tajik Language) directions. Students can pursue their studies in full-time, distance, evening, and master's formats.
The faculty has also implemented the teaching of relevant subjects in English by young instructors who hold language certificates, leveraging electronic English language programs.
Faculty Mission and Objectives
Faculty Mission: The primary task of the faculty is to implement advanced practices in social-humanitarian sciences and to enhance the faculty's international image based on the integration of theory and practice.
Faculty Objectives:
- To prepare competitive personnel with 21st-century skills by improving the content of philology and social sciences education and its educational-methodological provision, based on current demands.
- To foster a healthy competitive environment and increase the faculty's international attractiveness.
- To enhance the faculty's image by training teachers of international caliber.
Faculty Partnership Relations
To fulfill the tasks defined within the pedagogical education innovation cluster, prepare new pedagogical staff for New Uzbekistan, improve educational and methodological support, conduct international scientific research, and train international-level teachers, the Faculty of Humanities has established beneficial partnerships with general secondary and vocational schools in Tashkent region, republican higher education institutions, foreign higher education institutions, and numerous public organizations.
The tasks to be carried out in cooperation-oriented research include:
- Improving cooperation with general education schools, aimed at ensuring the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-289 dated June 2, 2022.
- Exchanging experience with higher education institutions of the Republic through student academic mobility.
- Systematically organizing spiritual and educational events in cooperation with the Republican Kazakh, Tajik, and Russian National Cultural Centers through the faculty's "Friendship Spirituality Center" ("Kazakh National Center," "Tajik National Center," "Russian National Center"), and covering them in media and social networks.
