On November 29, 2006, he defended his candidate's thesis on the topic "Study of genetic control of marker characteristics during crossing of new isogenic lines of cotton" at the Institute of Genetics and Experimental Biology of Plants of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2012, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor. On March 12, 2019, he defended his doctoral thesis at the National University of Uzbekistan on the topic "Improving the methodology for developing a natural-scientific worldview in students (on the example of teaching the subject "Evolutionary Doctrine")"[1]. Author of more than 100 scientific and methodological works, including more than 70 scientific articles, 3 textbooks, 3 monographs, 7 study guides, 2 scientific collective monographs, 3 methodological guides for students of biology departments of higher educational institutions.

1. In 2014, he participated in the republican competition “Best Textbook and Educational Literature of the Year” and was awarded the honorary certificate of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the textbook “Fundamentals of Genetics and Selection”.
2. In 2021, he was awarded the honorary certificate “Innovator of Science” by the rector of the institute for scientific research work at the institute, active participation in international and republican conferences, and effective work in scientific research.
3. On September 30, 2022, he was awarded the honorary certificate “For his worthy contribution to improving the well-being of the people of the region, for his effective work in implementing large-scale reforms carried out at the national level” by the khokim of Tashkent region.
4. In 2022, he was awarded the commemorative badge “30th Anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan” of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
5. On December 23, 2023, on the "Scientists' Day", he was included in the encyclopedia "Famous Scientists of Uzbekistan".

Academic Leadership and Curriculum Development Since 2003, A.K. Rakhimov has held various positions at the Department of Genetics and Cytoembryology of the National University of Uzbekistan, including Assistant, Teacher, Senior Teacher, and Associate Professor. Until 2016, he served as Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs, Acting Head of the Department of Genetics and Cytoembryology, Chairman of the Faculty's Scientific-Methodical Council, and Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science. Since 2019, as the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Chirchik State Pedagogical University, he has actively participated in developing State Education Standards (SES), qualification requirements, curricula, and new-generation syllabi for undergraduate and graduate programs in Biology. He has made significant contributions to improving the quality of education, strengthening the material and technical base, and ensuring the integration of science with production.

Pedagogical Innovations and Teaching Throughout his teaching career, A.K. Rakhimov has effectively implemented innovative pedagogical and information technologies at local and specific levels (e.g., "Brainstorming," "Venn Diagram," "Cluster," "Case Study," "Step-by-step"). Utilizing multimedia resources such as PowerPoint, Internet information resources, and video projectors, he conducts high-level lectures, practical sessions, and seminars for 1st-4th year undergraduate students in subjects including Plant Anatomy and Morphology, Basics of Genetics and Breeding, Evolutionary Theory, and Biology Teaching Methodology. For Master's students, he teaches Development of the Organic World, Anthropology, Methodology of Teaching Specialized Subjects, and Plant Genetics. He consistently creates conditions for independent study and enhances students' professional competencies.

Expertise and Competition Leadership From 2016 to 2019, he served as a member (Vice-Chairman) of the Scientific-Methodical Council for Biology under the Republican Education Center. He also chaired the jury for the Republican Biology Olympiad for secondary school students in 2015 and the national "Best Biology Teacher" competition in 2017.

Organization of Olympiads and Cluster Implementation In April of 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, A.K. Rakhimov was a key organizer of multi-stage university biology Olympiads for 11th-grade graduates and online National Science Olympiads for university students at Chirchik State Pedagogical University. These initiatives were aimed at fulfilling Presidential Decree No. 4805 (dated August 12, 2020) to enhance the quality of education and scientific results in chemistry and biology. These activities represent the practical implementation of the "Innovative Pedagogical Education Cluster," which is a priority for the university.

Academic Mentorship During his pedagogical career, he has supervised 15 Master's theses and about 20 Bachelor's graduation works, contributing to the preparation of numerous highly qualified pedagogical cadres.
