Umirova Zamira Abduhamidov qizi was born on January 7, 1991, in Yukori Chirchiq District, Tashkent Region. In 2017, she graduated with honors from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a bachelor's degree in Foreign Philology. In 2019, she obtained a master's degree in Linguistics from the same university. She completed professional development courses in Europe, successfully finishing training programs in “Psycholinguistics” and “Bilingualism,” and received the corresponding certificates.

Currently, she works as a teacher at the Department of Linguistics and Methodology of English Language Teaching, Faculty of Tourism, Chirchik State Pedagogical University.

The scientific research of Umirova Zamira Abduhamidova qizi is focused on the study of linguistics, language testing methodology, and terminological systems in higher education. Her works contribute to improving the quality of education through the analysis of modern linguistic theories, methods of assessing language competence, and terminology used in the higher education system.

Her research interests include:

  • the development and improvement of test materials for assessing language competence;
  • linguo-didactic analysis of diagnostic, formative, and summative tests;
  • structural and functional analysis of terminology used in higher education;
  • systematization of terminology and determination of its role in the educational process;
  • study of translation, equivalence, and cultural aspects of terminology;
  • comparative analysis of higher education terminology in Uzbek and English.

Published educational and methodological works

Monograph: “Testing and Its Application in Foreign Language Teaching” (2025)

The monograph presents theoretical and practical aspects of testing in foreign language teaching. It discusses the types of tests used for assessing language competence, their didactic foundations, the influence of assessment results on students’ knowledge levels, as well as innovative approaches aimed at increasing the effectiveness of testing in the process of foreign language instruction.
