Abdimurotov Oybek Uralovich

Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Abdimurotov Oybek Uralovich was born on April 30, 1989 in the Shorchi district of the Surkhandarya region. In 1996-2002, he studied at school No. 51 in the Shorchi district, and in 2002-2007, at lyceum No. 16 in the Shorchi district. In 2009, he entered the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, majoring in “Fundamentals of Geography and Economic Knowledge”, graduating with honors in 2013, and in the same year he was admitted to the magistracy of this higher educational institution in the specialty “Geography Teaching Methods”, graduating in 2015.

In 2015-2019, he worked as a teacher of geography and foundations of economic knowledge at the State General Education School of Exact Sciences under the Ministry of Public Education, located in the Olmozor district of Tashkent. Since 2019, he has been working at the Department of Geography of Chirchik State Pedagogical University, and has been the Head of the Department of Geography since 2023.

The direction of scientific research is devoted to improving modern methods and approaches to teaching geography. The author has published more than 100 articles and theses within the scope of scientific research, 3 of which are in internationally renowned journals on the basis of Scopus and 1 in the Web of Science. Based on the results of his research, he published the monographs “Methodology of organizing practical exercises in natural geography courses”, “Methodology of organizing independent education in geography under the credit-module system”. He is also the author of the textbooks “Problems and exercises in geography”, “Natural sciences in primary education”, “Theory and methodology of natural sciences” and the textbook “Methodology of teaching geography”.
