  • To organize the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the President, resolutions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and personnel training;

In 1997 he was appointed as the rector of the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute. In 2005-2006 he worked as the rector of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami. Since 2006 to 2015 he worked as the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan. Since 2017 to present he is the rector of the Chirchik State Pedagogical Institute. In 2012 he was awarded the degree of “Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. G.I. Mukhamedov published 4 monographs, more than 250 scientific articles in domestic and foreign journals. He has 10 copyright certificates for inventions and discoveries in the field of chemistry. Under the scientific guidance of G.I. Mukhamedov 4 doctors of science and 7 candidates of science were trained.
