“Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave”, “Knowledge is light, ignorance is darkness”. Knowledge protects a person from going astray, opens his mind, and broadens his worldview. Seeking knowledge is the duty of every person.” Acquiring knowledge is the responsibility of every person, not just scientists.
Sobirova Zulkhumor Sharipovna is married and is the mother of 1 child.
Sobirova Zulkhumor Sharipovna initially conducted scientific research on the distribution, biology and diagnostics of the MDMV virus, which infects corn plants, in the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan, and developed specific serum for the diagnosis of these viruses and effectively used it in immunodiagnostics.
The scientific research work she conducted was effectively used in our country in the fields of virology, agriculture, and plant protection:
In science: in the study and identification of molecular-genetic characteristics of plant viruses distributed in our country.
In agriculture: in assessing the resistance of corn varieties and samples to plant viruses.
In the field of plant protection and quarantine: in identifying natural reservoir plants of viruses and protecting plants.
In higher education: in introducing new modern research methods into laboratory studies.
In breeding: in creating virus-resistant varieties.
Sobirova Zulkhumor Sharipovna has published more than 3 textbooks, 1 monograph, and more than 15 scientific articles in national and foreign journals. More than 5 of her articles are indexed in the international scientific market Scopus and Web of Science.
Sobirova Zulkhumor Sharipovna has experience as an active, enthusiastic teacher. Her pedagogical activity in higher education began at Urgench State University and her subsequent pedagogical and career activities include the following institutions:
