To‘ychiboyev Jahongir Ismoiljonovich was born on September 24, 1994. He is a researcher in the field of human and animal physiology. In 2021, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the National University of Uzbekistan, and in 2023, he completed his Master’s degree in Human and Animal Physiology at the same university. Since 2024, he has been pursuing his PhD in Human and Animal Physiology at the National University of Uzbekistan. Currently, he is conducting scientific research at Chirchik State Pedagogical University, the A. Sodiqov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and at the Department of Human and Animal Physiology of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology of the National University of Uzbekistan in the field of endocrinology (thyroid diseases and the development of new drugs for their treatmen
J. To‘ychiboyev began his scientific career in 2019 at the National University of Uzbekistan. His initial research focused on studying changes in the body’s antioxidant defense system under conditions of experimental hypothyroidism. In these studies, he analyzed the corrective properties of vitamin E and curcumin, scientifically substantiating their effects on redox processes in liver and brain tissues.
In his subsequent research, he also studied the importance of natural compounds — Rutan, Providin, and Anacardin — as biologically active components. Particular attention was given to their effects in a hypothyroidism model: influencing the levels of enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants (superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, α-tocopherol, and others), as well as their effectiveness in limiting lipid peroxidation processes.
As a result of To‘ychiboyev’s research:
the main markers of oxidative stress in a hypothyroidism model were identified;
the corrective effect of natural antioxidants such as vitamin E and curcumin was scientifically substantiated;
the therapeutic potential of Rutan, Providin, and Anacardin-2 is currently being tested.
At present, he continues his scientific activity in collaboration with Chirchik State Pedagogical University, the A. Sodiqov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Department of Human and Animal Physiology of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology at the National University of Uzbekistan. His research is focused on endocrinology, particularly on the development of new effective drugs for the treatment of thyroid diseases.
To‘ychiboyev Jahongir is an active, dedicated educator and an experienced organizational leader. His pedagogical career in higher education began at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek and has since expanded to include the following roles:
