Tursunov Hasan Turgunovich graduated with honors from the Faculty of Geography at Tashkent State University in 1980. Since 1983, he has worked as a lecturer in the Department of Physical Geography. In 1985, he began working as an instructor in the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, and in 1988 he became a senior instructor. In 1994, he defended his master's thesis. Since 1995, he has worked as an associate professor in the Department of Ecology at the National University of Uzbekistan. He also worked at the State Committee for Nature Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He has published 4 textbooks, 1 methodological guide for teachers, 1 monograph, and over 100 scientific and methodological articles. He participated in international projects on climate change issues in Uzbekistan and on the conservation of biodiversity in the Western Tianshan, as well as in projects on environmental education and education for sustainable development. The scientific and pedagogical topics include the ecological and geographical problems of cities, ecological sustainable development, environmental education, and education for sustainable development.
