Tursunova Nilufar Muydinovna
Associate Professor of the Department

She is a researcher specializing in plant physiology, biochemistry, and genetics. Her scientific activities focus on the study of physiological, morpho-agronomic, and molecular genetic characteristics of Phaseolus vulgaris L. hybrids.
Her research emphasizes the identification of genotypes tolerant to agrobiological stresses, the assessment of trait inheritance and variability, and their application in plant breeding programs.
In teaching practice, he/she applies modern educational technologies, including problem-based learning, interactive teaching methods, case studies, project-based learning, and analytical approaches in laboratory and practical classes. The teaching activities are aimed at developing students’ independent thinking and research competencies.
Currently, she is conducting research on the molecular genetic evaluation of agrobiological stress tolerance in Phaseolus vulgaris L. hybrids.

2019–2021 – Master’s student at Chirchiq State Pedagogical Institute, Tashkent region.
Since September 2021 – Lecturer at the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology, Chirchiq State Pedagogical Institute, Tashkent region.
2022–2024 – PhD researcher (basic doctoral student) at the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Chirchiq State Pedagogical Institute.
Since February 2025 – Acting Associate Professor at the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Chirchiq State Pedagogical University.
From 2003 to 2007, during undergraduate studies, research was conducted in the field of zoology. The seasonal distribution of zooplankton found in rice fields and the biology of the most common species were studied.
From 2019 to 2021, during master’s studies, research was carried out in the field of algology. In addition, the seasonal succession of algae occurring in the Tuyabuguz Reservoir was investigated, and based on the obtained results, several scientific articles and theses were published.
From 2022 to 2024, doctoral studies were pursued in the specialty of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry. Scientific research was conducted on the topic “Physiological characteristics and inheritance of morpho-agronomic traits in hybrids of Phaseolus vulgaris L.” During this period, studies were carried out in the fields of genetics, physiological characteristics, and biochemistry of leguminous plants.
In particular, the manifestation of morpho-agronomic, physiological, and biochemical traits in geographically distant varieties of Phaseolus vulgaris L. was investigated, as well as the inheritance and variability of these traits in F1–F2 hybrids, resulting in the selection of new genotypes with enriched hereditary potential.
In 2025, the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences was awarded.
Currently, research is being conducted on the topic “Molecular genetic assessment of agro-biological stress tolerance in Phaseolus vulgaris L. hybrids”. Scientific works have been published in the fields of plant physiology, biochemistry, and genetics. The author has published more than 50 articles and theses and is the author of 1 учебный guide (textbook) and 1 monograph. Since September 2021, has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Chirchik State Pedagogical University.
