Faculty of Physical Culture

About the Faculty of Physical Culture

The Faculty of Physical Culture was initially established as the Faculty of Sports and Pre-conscription Military Training on August 27, 2019, following decision No. 1 of the extended council of the institute. Later, on October 27, 2023, it was officially renamed to the Faculty of Physical Culture by order No. 01-242. The faculty is located at 22 Bobur Street, Chirchik city, Tashkent region, within Building 5 of Chirchik State Pedagogical University.

Currently, the faculty educates a total of 2276 students across various forms of study:

• 743 students in full-time programs.
• 13 students in master's degree programs.
• 1432 students in distance learning (2nd higher education) programs.
• 88 students in evening programs.

The faculty's academic staff comprises 40 professors and instructors, including:

• 1 Doctor of Science, Professor.
• 12 Candidates of Science, Associate Professors.

The faculty offers bachelor's and master's programs in the following specializations, with students able to pursue their studies in full-time, distance, evening, and master's formats:

• 60111200 - Physical Culture (Physical Culture and Women's Sports).
• 60112300 - Technological Education.

Faculty Mission and Objectives

Faculty Mission: To consistently develop the stability of educational quality towards a new, progressive stage.

Faculty Objectives:

• To prepare professional pedagogical staff by elevating pedagogical education to a new stage through an innovative cluster approach.
• To achieve a faculty characterized by professional quality education, leading scientific research, science, and innovation, and digital interaction with society.
• To modernize educational programs in line with international educational standards.
